Relocating to The Conservatory® at Ginn Hammock Beach™ Resort in Palm Coast, FL, the Ginn sur Mer Classic™ returned to the PGA TOUR Fall Series for 2008.

This year weather was one of the biggest factors - with rain causing significant delays in the final round and creating difficult course conditions - as some of the PGA TOUR's best fought for a win, and a place on the money list to guarantee their exemption for the next year.

In what seemed like deja vu, the winds picked up on the final day of the 2008 Ginn Championship™, but this year it was Bernhard Langer who showed that he was ready for any change in the weather. The 2008 Ginn OPEN® has come and gone, and left behind some amazing stories. After four days of challenging golf, it was Lorena Ochoa who once again proved her dominance of the LPGA taking home the much coveted Dale Chihuly designed Kelly Jo Dowd Trophy.
